Today, Lenovo launched five new additions to the ThinkPad family.
Let’s start with the T series of ThinkPads. The ThinkPad T440s and T440 share many of the same features including up to 1TB hard drives or SSDs and 802.11ac WiFi and optional 4G. The T440s has a full HD touch display while the T440 includes a 14-inch HD screen with optional touch capabilities. The ThinkPad T440s will be available at the end of October starting at $1149. The ThinkPad T440 will be available at the same time as the T440s starting at $899.
The ThinkPad X240 weighs less than three pounds and is 20.3mm thin and features Haswell processors, up to 1TB of storage, a 12.5-inch Full HD display with touch, and a backlit keyboard. The ThinkPad X240 will be available at the end of October for $1099.
The ThinkPad S440 and S540 feature Haswell processors, up to Full HD anti-glare touch displays, and discrete graphics. The ThinkPad S440 will be available in September for €699. The S540 will be available in October for €649.
Lenovo also introduced its ThinkVision monitor, which features a 21:9 panoramic display. The ThinkVision LT2934z monitor also has a 29-inch 2560x1080AH-IPS LED panel, a Full HD webcam, dual array microphone and speakers and Picture-in-Picture capabilities. The ThinkVision LT2934z will be available in October for $799.
